Bachelor of Mass media (BMM) is a 3-year course. Bachelor of Mass media (BMM) in, magazines, newspapers, digests, and news agencies and it also involves training and teaching regarding editing, photographing, writing, reporting, etc. Those who pursue the degree are trained and educated in the different techniques and methods of media and communication. As the name suggests, the Broadcast Journalism course deals with different aspects of communication.
Bachelor of Mass media (BMM) uses an entirely different medium, it also has different techniques for acquiring and displaying information. There are different media ethics and rules promulgated by media regulators and federations to govern the practice of broadcast journalism.
The course enables an in-depth understanding of the dynamic field of mass media in its various forms – print, radio, television, advertising, PR, new media and films. In the third year, students select any one of the specialisations from Advertising and Journalism.

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Mass media (BMM)
1. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 schooling or equivalent, in any stream, from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% marks are eligible to enrol for this program.
2. Institutions requiring an entrance exam for admission may take into account both the entrance exam score as well as previous academic records.
3. The cut-off mark for the examination is decided by each institution.

1. Applicant on relevant entrance examinations determines admission to various universities and colleges.
2. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
3. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
